With the official opening of the spring semester today, Syracuse University announced the appointment of two Jews on its list of new instructors.
Dr. Harry H. Levy, a Syracuse physician, will teach in the College of Medicine, and Murray Bernthal of New York, who graduated from the local University last June as its finest violinist, will be an instructor in the violin department in the College of Fine Arts, it was announced.
