Two letter bombs from Amsterdam addressed to Israel’s Consulates in Rio and Sao Paulo were intercepted by military police assigned to check foreign mail to Israeli diplomats in Brazil, police reported today. The bombs were defused. Security officials asked postal authorities to be particularly alert about all mail addressed to Israeli diplomats and to Brazilian Jewish leaders, businessmen, institutions and schools.
