Two men accused of war crimes have been sentenced to death in the Ukrainian city of Golowanjewsk, according to Soviet news reports. The men belonged to a Russian police force formed by the Germans during World War II. They were found guilty of having killed more than one hundred persons, including Jews and non-Jews having contact with Soviet partisan groups.
