Two police officers, Inspector Green and Constable Ewer, who were shot yesterday in Haifa by two unidentified men, died of their wounds today in a Haifa hospital.

An investigation has established that the assassins opened fire when they were challenged by the police officials while they were loitering in a Haifa street. No trace of their whereabouts has been discovered. The assassins left a bundle of seditious leaflets when they fled.

Rev. Clerk Kerr, a cousin of the British Ambassador in Moscow, was attacked today in the German quarter in Haifa by unknown assailants who stabbed him twice and disappeared.
