Two Palestinian terrorist groups in the Gaza Strip are providing Hebrew transliterations for the names of their rockets. A Reuters photograph on Monday showed an Israeli policemen handling a spent Islamic Jihad rocket, with its name, Al-Quds 3, appearing in Hebrew on the metal. A representative of the group in Gaza confirmed that a decision had been made to transliterate the rocket name both in an effort to terrify Israelis and to ensure that they know who is firing at them.
