correspondence. The Government, it is understood, is taking into consideration the strong Jewish protests relative to the disposition of the Kadoorie legacy. The Government first planned to open a college for all sections of the population, but following an interview had by Colonel Kisch and Dr. Lurie with H.E. Bowman, director of education, it is probable that the plan will be modified. The Jewish representatives suggested the division of the Kadoorie Fund into two parts so that two high schools, one for Hebrews and one for Arabs, might be opened separately.
