Two suspects were detained in connection with an assault on a Palestinian legislator who signed a leaflet accusing the self-rule government of corruption, according to Palestinian officials. Legislator Mouawiyah Masri was lightly wounded in the leg by three assailants whom he said attacked him near his home in Nablus. Masri said he believes at least one of the attackers was a member of the Palestinian security services.
