Z. Tygel, executive director of the Federation of Polish Jews in America, left Friday on the S. S. Pulaski for Poland and Palestine. Mr. Tygel is one of the organizers of the Zeire-Zion in this country. A Zionist from youth, he is going to Palestine for the first time.
Mr. Tygel Wednesday night was given a farewell party by the Zeire-ZionPoale-Zion organization, and on Thursday he attended a dinner in his honor given by the administrative committee of the Federation of Polish Jews.
Enroute to Palestine, Mr. Tygel will spend a week in Warsaw and confer with Polish-Jewish leaders with regard to the economic situation of Jews there.
