A resolution recommending that the U.N. Commission on Human Rights include a provision in the International Covenant on Human Rights insuring minority group members against the denial of the right “to enjoy their own culture, to profess and practice their own religion or to use their own language,” was adopted today by the Subcommission on the Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities.

Another resolution asked the General Assembly to provide facilities for minorities to fully exercise their rights.
