The United Nations Subcommission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities unanimously voted a resolution here today, calling for intensification of a program for the eradication of prejudice and discrimination. The draft as passed urged also the improvement of facilities for research “into the causes of prejudice and discrimination, and in techniques for their eradication.”
The demands were passed on by the subcommission for action by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, and requested other “competent organs” of the UN, especially the Commission on Human Rights, to take note of the aims stated in the measure.
