U.N. Commission Discusses Food Plans for Palestine; Hears Hebrew Committee Leader

The Palestine Commission today began work on a plan assuring the continuity of food supplies in Palestine after May 15, when the Mandate expires. The Commission heard testimony by Peter Pergson, chairman of the Hebrew Committee for National Liberation, who urged the setting up of a Jewish state in Palestine pending action by the Security Council.
