The United Nations High Commissioner in Eritrea has completed his consultations with representatives of various organizations in connection with the drafting of a constitution for Eritrea, it was reported here today by the U.N. headquarters. Among other groups, the Commissioner, Dr. Eduardo Anze Matienzo, received leaders of the Eritrea Jewish Community who expressed the hope that a legal basis for the protection of minorities and the rights of foreigners would be provided for in the constitution.
