The U.N. Conciliation Commission for Palestine will reconvene in New York City on Wednesday morning in the first session of this body in the United States, it was announced today.
The three-nation Commission consisting of the United States, France and Turkey, will meet on the eve of the full-dress debate of the Palestine issue by the 59-nation Political Committee of the General Assembly.
Meanwhile, the Israel delegation at the U.N. today joined Iraq and a majority of the U.N. Committee on Social, Humanitarian and Cultural Issues in supporting a British resolution forwarding to the International Labor Office Polish allegations to the effect that migrant labor was being mistreated. The Poles had insisted that the charges be acted upon by the General Assembly.
