A protest against a United Nations decision to hold no session of the UN Human Rights Commission this year was filed here today by the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions. The Human Rights Commission deals with anti-Semitism.

The Economic and Social Council, parent body of the Human Rights Commission, had deleted the annual Human Rights Commission’s meeting from this year’s schedule, due to the fact that the facilities at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva will be taxed by a conference scheduled to be held there on trade and development. In a 29-page memorandum, detailing various human rights violations around the world, the ICFTU requested that the Human Rights Commission be authorized to hold its annual meeting in West Berlin.
