Maj. Gen. Carl C. von Horn, United Nations truce chief, conferred today with Dr. Walter Eytan and Joseph Tekoah, director general and head of the armistice affairs department, respectively, of the Israel Foreign Affairs Ministry. Reportedly, they discussed questions concerning Mt. Scopus left open by Dr. Ralph Bunche, United Nations Under Secretary, when he visited here earlier this month.
Meanwhile, the convoy to Mt. Scopus, turning back of which two weeks ago brought Dr. Bunche to the Middle East on a flying visit, went through on schedule yesterday. The incident, which forced UN Secretary General Dag Hammarskjold to intervene, blew up over Jordanian allegations that two members of the convoy going up the height were intelligence agents.
