United Nations truce observers were attacked by a large number of Arab refugees in Gaza today, according to reports received here tonight. Although no UN personnel were injured, a UN jeep and a passenger automobile were wrecked and burned by the mob. The police later dispersed the refugee demonstrators.
The reports stated that the Arab refugees were apparently inflamed by the Israel-Egyptian clash in the Gaza strip last night, in which an Egyptian thrust at an Israel military patrol was hurled back into Egyptian territory with heavy losses to the Egyptians.
