American Zionists’ dedication to the task of “strengthening the bonds” between Israel and the United States was praised here last night by American Ambassador Edward B. Lawson speaking at exercises dedicating ZOA House to the memory of Daniel Frisch, late president of the Zionist Organization of America, who set in motion the building of ZOA House. Mrs. Frisch, who flew here for the exercises, unveiled a plaque to the memory of her husband.
Ambassador Lawson told the several hundred Israel leaders at the ceremony that through ZOA House, American Zionists had “effectively” explained American ideals to Israel and thus “created between the two nations the noble spirit of understanding and mutual respect.” Other speakers included Dr. Emanuel Neumann, chairman of the national executive committee of the ZOA, Joseph Sprinzak, Speaker of the Israel Parliament, and Joseph Serlin, Minister of Health and leader of the Israel General Zionist Party.
