The United States Government has approved a grant of $225, 000, in matching funds, toward the construction of a new building here for the Jewish Nursing Home for the Aged, it was announced today by Benjamin N. Brook, executive director of the Tucson Jewish Community Council.
The new structure, for which groundbreaking ceremonies are to be held about May 1, will be located on a site near the Tucson Medical Center. Approval of the Government grant, Mr. Brook said, has been given by the U.S. Public Health Service.
