The formation of an American Committee for the Unknown Jewish Martyr Memorial Fund was announced here today. The committee will seek $2,000,000 in the United States to provide for the building of a monument and museum in Paris in memory of the 6,000,000 Jews annihilated by the Nazis in Europe. Congressmen Emanuel Celler and Jacob Javits were named honorary chairmen of the committee.
