Groups of major American Jewelry store owners will visit Israel as part of a program of jeweler tours announced by the Israel Diamond Institute today to leaders of the Retail Jeweler’s Association at their annual trade fair and convention in New York. A tour and buying mission organized by the national office of the RJA leaves for Israel tomorrow. A detailed program for group trips from the 7,600-man RJA was outlined to executives of the State Associations affiliated with the jewelry trade body by Burton Halpern, special events director, representing the Israel diamond industry.
