U.S. finance officials are scheduled to meet Wednesday to discuss the possibility of sanctions against Swiss banks over claims relating to Holocaust- era assets. The meeting in New York comes after the passage of a July 1 deadline that the finance officials had set for the banks to reach a settlement with representatives of Holocaust survivors. Those talks have been stalled.
