Emphasizing that the recent attacks on Jews in Argentina have provoked “grave disquiet” and “the utmost apprehension” among Jews, the World Jewish Congress today addressed a letter to Secretary of State Byrnes asking the United States Government to “resist the invasion of this hemisphere by the sinister forces of racial hate which have already brought overwhelming catastrophe to other parts of the globe.”
