World-wide interest in the revelation of atrocities in Nazi extermination camps made public a month ago by the War Refugee Board has been evidenced by a flood of applications for copies of the report, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency was informed today.
Requests for the report have come by the hundred from diplomatic representatives, organizations of all kinds, professional mon, including doctors, lawyers, churchmen and college professors. A score of teachers from the United States and Canada wanted the report for classroom study, and a psychiatrist from McGill University was among the numerous medical men who sent requests.
Public and university libraries asked the material for reference, and churchmen of all denominations wrote for the report for use in the pulpit. A Swiss publishing house asked the publishing rights in Switzerland, and approximately 25 American publishers wrote in for the texts of the report.
