The Department of Health, Education and Welfare today made known that it has agreed to pay an estimated $61, 000 toward the construction of a new nursing home at the Jewish Convalescent Hospital in Baltimore, Md. The total cost of the project, which provides the convalescent home with a new 34-bed facility adjacent to the existing one, has been estimated at $220, 950.
