The United States and Israel signed an agreement today covering the sale of 40,000,000 pounds of U.S. beef for $10,000,000. Secretary of Agriculture Ezra Taft Benson signed for the United States while Ambassador Abba Eban affixed his signature for Israel. The beef will be paid for in Israel currency.
