The United States and Israel carried out a joint military exercise this week to remove “wounded” soldiers from a U.S. 6th Fleet aircraft carrier.
U.S. Marines taking part in the exercises Sunday were flown by helicopter to Haifa’s Rambam medical center, where they received simulated treatment from Israeli emergency medical staff, Israel Television reported.
The drill was part of a series of joint military exercises taking place in Israel this month.
