Bibles, abridged prayer books, Scrolls of the Law, skull caps and mezuzahs are being packed in a local warehouse of the Y.M.C.A. for shipment to American Jewish prisoners of war in the Far East, it was learned here today. These articles have been provided by the Jewish Welfare Board in response to requests from prison camps which have been transmitted through the War Prisoners Aid.
A shipment of similar articles left New York for Geneva, Switzerland, several weeks ago for distribution among prisoners of war in camps in Europe.
