U.S. May Release Ezra Pound; Anti-semitic Poet Charged with Treason

The United States is considering releasing from a mental hospital here Ezra Pound, 73, widely known American poet, who was charged with treason against the United States in the late World War but was never tried because of his mental condition. Attorney General Rogers announced here yesterday. Pound’s poetry is shot through with anti-Semitic references.
