Obstacles still in the way of the complete realization of the Displaced Persons Act were discussed today by Arthur Greenleigh, executive director of the United Service for New Americans, with officers of the State Department, the Displaced Persons Commission, and the Immigration and Naturalization Service.

Mr. Greenleigh reported here that not a single displaced person brought to America by any voluntary agency has been deported as a subversive. This is viewed as an answer to allegations by Senate Judiciary Committee chairman Pat McCarran and others that the DP program is importing “subversives by the boatload.”
