U.S. Provides Surplus Italian Funds to Finance Israel Purchases

The International Cooperation Administration announced three authorizations totaling $263,500 for Israel. Two of the authorizations provide for purchases by Israel with Italian currency resulting from the sale in Italy of U.S. surplus agricultural commodities. Israel will buy pulp and paper products and draft horses for agricultural use.
