U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said the United States is maintaining global pressure on Hamas to reform. Rice, who has led international calls for Hamas to renounce terrorism and recognize the Jewish state since the terrorist group won last month’s Palestinian Authority elections, called Israel’s Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert on Monday.
