Her assurances came after some lawmakers said such a move would put undue pressure on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Meanwhile, Israeli media are reporting that U.S. Middle East envoy Dennis Ross would return to Israel later this week. But neither Netanyahu’s office nor the U.S. State Department would confirm the reports.
