U.S. Sen. Alfonse D’Amato (R-N.Y.) announced plans to introduce legislation calling on museums around the world to return to their rightful owners artworks that were looted by the Nazis. Describing it as a “very comprehensive” bill, the chairman of the Senate Banking Committee said it “will have international ramifications.”
