A memorial will be built to the late Victor L. Berger of Wisconsin, one of the founders of the American Socialist Party and the founder and editor of the Milwaukee Daily Leader, as a result of a luncheon held this week at which a committee was chosen for this purpose. The committee will consist of Morris Hillquit, national chairman of the Socialist Party; Norman Thomas; B. Charney Vladeck, manager of the Jewish Daily Forward; E. J. Costello, editor of the Milwaukee Leader, and Howard Y. Williams, executive secretary of the League for Independent Political Action.
