America will participate in the 1936 Olympic games in Berlin!
This was the story that Avery Brundage, president of the American Olympic Committee, did not give out to the press yesterday upon his return from Europe. He refused to commit himself on any stand, saying the question of American participation was such a momentous one that he will present all evidence before the committee meeting tonight at the New York Athletic Club.
“The 1936 Olympics will be held in Germany whether America participates or not,” he said.
