Israeli Minister-Without Portfolio Israel Galili’s warning yesterday that his government should forego its “complacent optimism” over the upcoming American-Soviet summit meeting is expected to be discussed here Friday by Israeli Foreign Minister Abba Eban and Secretary of State William P. Rogers, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency learned today.
The State Department declined comment today on Galili’s remarks, saying an official communication had not been received. Eban arrives here Thursday and will address a dinner that night honoring I.L. Kenen, executive vice chairman of the America-Israel Public Affairs Committee.
