Confidence that the United Jewish Appeal in the United States will raise considerably more money in 1971 than the record breaking $250 million raised in 1967 was expressed by Leon Dulzin, treasurer of the Jewish Agency for Israel, who is in this country for a two-week speaking engagement for the UJA. Dulzin said that record breaking campaigns are necessary to finance the continuing large aliyah to Israel. He said that during April, Israel received 1,500 immigrants from Russia, the largest for any month in Israel’s 23 year history.
