UJA-Federation of New York tapped a new president and board chairman. In a release last Friday, the group announced the choices of John Shapiro for president and Jerry Levin for chairman. Shapiro has served on the federation’s Executive Committee; Levin has been a member of its board and executive committee. The two are slated to take their positions on July 1.
