Ukrainian police freed an Israeli who was kidnapped two months ago by a Chechen gang, according to Ukrainian media reports. The Ukrainian-born woman, who came from Israel to Odessa to sell her apartment, was seized by Chechen criminals who called her mother in Israel with a $50,000 ransom demand. The victim is recovering in a local hospital and is expected to travel soon to Israel for further medical treatment.
