Louis Broido, executive vice president of Gimbel Brothers, was elected national vice chairman of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations, it was announced today. He is a chairman of the Greater New York Campaign of the United Jewish Appeal and a member of the board of directors of the Joint Distribution Committee. The Union of American Hebrew Congregations represents 450 Reform congregations.
