A resolution thanking the Italian Government for its promptness in restoring full rights to Jews was adopted here today at the conclusion of the third annual conference of the Federation of Italian Jewish Committees. The meeting also thanked the Italian and Swiss people for the aid extended Jews during the war.
Other resolutions expressed support of the policies of the Jewish Agency for Palestine and demanded the creation of a Jewish state. Rafaels Cantoni was elected chairman of the Federation and Dr. Renzo Levi, vice-chairman. Chief Rabbi David Prato was named to the new executive committee.
Thirty-three Jewish refugees bound for Palestine sailed from Naples yesterday aboard the Italian warship Monte Cuccoli. They were granted Palestine immigration certificates by British diplomatic representatives.
