A special event signifying inter-faith cooperation took place today when a flight from Rome arrived this afternoon bringing a total of 106 immigrants. Of this total, 46 refugees – Jews, Moslems and Hindus – will be assisted by United Hias Service. These new arrivals consist of 20 Jewish immigrants from Eastern Europe and Libya and 26 stateless Asians expelled from Uganda. All will be assisted in their resettlement by Jewish communities throughout the country. United Hias Service is one of seven voluntary organizations that are assisting the 1000 Ugandan refugees due here.
