The Winnipeg United Israel Campaign was opened here last night by Dr. Israel Goldstein, chairman of the World Confederation of General Zionists and a member of the Jewish Agency executive. The goal of the drive is $800,000. Speaking at a meeting inaugurating the drive, Dr. Goldstein stressed the fact that the forthcoming immigration of Iraqi Jews to Israel would add $25,000,000 to this year’s Agency budget.
