Prime Minister Levi Eshkol of Israel, and Mrs. Eshkol, will be guests of honor at a dinner of the United Jewish Appeal’s national campaign cabinet, at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel here, on June 3, it was announced by Joseph Meyerhoff, the UJA general chairman.
The UJA cabinet dinner will be the first major Jewish function Mr. Eshkol is scheduled to attend while in New York. Mr. Eshkol, Mr. Meyerhoff, Max M. Fisher, associate general chairman of the United Jewish Appeal and Rabbi Herbert A. Friedman, UJA executive vice-chairman, will speak at the dinner. A dinner for Premier and Mrs. Eshkol will also be tendered by the Israel Bond Organization here, on June 6.
