The largest gathering of Jewish representatives from all over Argentina, comprising 400 delegates from 200 communities, closed here enthusiastically last night as the twelfth annual conference was concluded by the United Jewish Campaign.
The conference voted to push this year’s campaign vigorously, envisaging at least duplication of last year’s contributions from Argentine Jewry toward resettlement, absorption and rehabilitation of immigrants in Israel. The conference paid special tribute to the Jewish National Fund which, this year, is celebrating its fortieth anniversary. Isaac J. Levin was re-elected as president of the United Jewish Campaign.
