United Nations special envoy Terje Roed Larsen was due in Lebanon to assess the situation after the Israeli pullback. Israel Radio quoted political sources in Jerusalem as saying they expected the United Nations to confirm that Israel had withdrawn to the international border and to approve an expanded U.N. force in Lebanon.
