A recommendation that the United Nations demand the surrender of Nazis responsible for crimes against Jews in Germany as part of any armistice terms will probably be adopted by the United Nations Commission for the Investigation of War Crimes, it was learned here today. The accused would be tried by an international court.
This recommendation is important since the declaration by the Moscow Conference on war criminals provided for punishment of Nazis in the occupied countries where they committed their crimes, but no provision was made for persons who have committed crimes against Jews and other victims within the Reich.
