An appeal for $10,000,000 will he made during the coming year by the United Palestine Appeal, it was learned from a statement issued yesterday by the headquarters of the Zionist Organization of America.
Floating of a $5,000,000 National Jewish Loan in the United States to prepare Palestine for additional Jewish agricultural settlements will be considered at the twenty-seventh annual convention of the Zionist Organization which will be held in Buffalo.
Among the projects for the further development of Palestine to be considered at the convention are the cooperation of American Jews in the Rutenberg Concession, a hydro-electric engineering plan to harness the Jordan River for irrigation purposes and to provide electric power for the industrialization of Palestine. Five million dollars is required for the initial development work of the concession.
