A “National Recovery Assembly” called by Louis J. Moss, president of the United Synagogue of America, will meet Sunday, November 12, at the Hotel Commodore, to consider the effect of the NRA upon Jewish synagogue and religious life and will take measures to provide for the new situation. It is the intention that a national educational and cultural program be formulated to meet the new leisure created as a result of the NRA.
A thorough reorganization of the United Synagogue of America, with the object of fashioning the organization along the most democratic lines, will also come up for consideration at the meeting.
