The Teachers Institute of the University of Judaism will be replaced by two schools because of needs created by the expansion of the institute, Dean Samuel Dinin has announced.
In place of the Institute, the University will have a College of Judaica, and a Hebrew Teachers College. Evening school courses leading to the degree of Associate of Arts and Bachelor of Hebrew Literature will continue to be offered. Graduates of the Los Angeles Hebrew High School will be able to enter a Junior College department of the College of Judaica.
